This week was super long due to some repairs in our apartment and travel these past few days. It continues to get colder here and the time goes faster and faster.
Last week in Church the Branch Presidency released the branch mission leader, and sustained a new one. The new guy is a stud and we are excited to work a ton with the members here in Rio Gallegos. This past Sunday there was a power outage in the whole city which caused a fuse to break in the church and the wires to the heating system caught fire. We had sacrament meeting then left because the whole place was filled with smoke. We are in the middle of organizing an activity for next week that will be a cake contest for the whole district (stake). My companion and I got it organized and we are hoping to get a lot of members and their friends to come and bring cakes. I`ll send pictures if it turns out good.
The past few days I had to travel to Comodoro for a meeting, which included two nights in a row sleeping on a bus, uno de lo cùales se rompìo en el camino a volver a Gallegos. ( one of which was broken on the way back to Gallegos). I am having such a hard time writing this in english you`ll have to translate the last part. One of the buses broke down and another one had to come and save us in the middle of the night it was terrible haha.
We are having a super fun time here sharing about family history with random people on the street. I filled out a little pamphlet and put pictures of my family and also I have the family tree you can print off from family search. We are trying to get people to come to the meetings which are almost every day of the week in another church building downtown. I love going because I can look on my account too.
That´s basically whats going on down here! Tomorrow we are getting flu shots so thats great news. I am having such a good time and learning so much about everything. I love this Gospel and I love my Savior so much.
