Good week here in Truncado. Went by really fast but was good. Monday we had interviews with the President in Caleta which was fun. The President is a super nice guy and we are good friends. Hermana Salerno is super funny too because she tries so hard to speak English haha she is super nice and said to send her love to my family and friends. So that was Monday, Caleta is like an hour bus ride from the area so we got back late and took our Pday on tuesday.
Don´t remember every detail of every day but the Lord is testing our patience I think. We can´t lock down a lot of people to teach and we got pretty wrecked contacting one morning this week. It was like 12 pm and it was pouring rain and way cold and every door they were like ¨no we don´t want your religion¨ for like 10 straight doors. But then we found this one lady who was super nice and told us she would come to church next week so that was awesome.
We are going to teach two of our main investigators tomorrow and one is this girl who has been investigating for like 2 years its insane. We are gonna give it a go and hopefully get her baptized soon.
My testimony and my love for the Savior grow so much every day. I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve a mission. The time really is going so fast and I pray so fervently that I can do all the Lord needs me to do here. The Book of Mormon is true. The gospel is restored and the restoration is still happening today. Christ lives and because He lives we will live again with our families forever. My heart is so full of gratitude to know these things.
Thanks so much for all the support.
Going for a run feels awesome
The rest of the pictures are in Caleta Olivia, I think. Some are taken this weekend during conference break. He traveled there and stayed with these Elders so they could watch conference. He got to watch in a room in the church all by himself as he was the only one watching in English. HAHA
